AI Agents
See your Claude Code sessions on the island, and approve, answer and review them without switching windows.
Hop Island can follow your Claude Code sessions: which ones are working, which one needs you, and what each just did. When an agent asks for permission or has a question, the island asks you instead of making you hunt for the right terminal.
Connect Claude Code
- Open the settings and go to AI agents.
- Click Connect. Hop adds its hooks to Claude Code's settings file, and keeps a backup of it first.
- Start a new Claude Code session.
Disconnect takes Hop's hooks out again and leaves your own hooks alone.
Note
The hooks talk only to Hop on your own PC (127.0.0.1). If Hop isn't running, Claude Code carries on as usual.
What you see
- The AI agents widget: every session with the tool's logo, what it's doing, and Working, Needs you, Done or Idle.
- Live edits: a short pop-up with the file and the lines added and removed.
- Done: a card with the agent's last words and a button that jumps to its terminal.
- Plan usage (optional): your 5-hour and weekly Claude limits. It uses Claude Code's own sign-in on your PC.
Answer from the island
| Card | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Permission | Allow, Deny, or Terminal to answer in the terminal as usual |
| Question | Pick an answer; it goes straight back to the agent |
| Plan | Read the plan, then Approve, or write feedback and Keep planning |
If you don't answer within about 50 seconds, Claude Code asks in its terminal as usual. If you're already looking at that agent's terminal, the island stays out of the way.
